"Here we are!"

Depois de 2 semanas a nossa american girl despediu-se do Porto.

Ao longo destes dias tive a oportunidade de me aperceber de vários pormenores:
- existe pelo menos uma americana que se interessa por outras culturas;
- sabe onde fica Portugal;
- esforça-se por falar a nossa língua apesar de saber falar espanhol (fiquei impressionada);
- a dificuldade dos americanos pronunciarem o nosso ão pode levar a situações muito engraçadas;
- o perigo dos americanos tentarem pronunciar algumas palavras em português como cargueiro;

When I get to Warwick Avenue...
Meet me by the entrance of the tube.
We can talk things over, a little time...
Promise me you won't step outta line.

When I get to Warwick Avenue...
Please drop the past and be true.
Don't think we're okay, just because I'm here...
You hurt me bad, but I won't shed a tear.

I'm leaving you for the last time baby...
You think you're loving but you don't love me.
I've been confused outta’ my mind lately...
You think you're loving but I want to be free.
Baby you've hurt me.

When I get to Warwick Avenue...
We'll spend an hour, but no more than two.
Our only chance to speak, once more...
I showed you the answers, now here's the door.

When I get to Warwick Avenue...
I'll tell you baby, that we're through.

I'm leaving you for the last time baby...
You think you're loving but you don't love me.
I've been confused outta’ my mind lately...
You think you're loving but you don't love me.
I want to be free, baby you've hurt me.

All the days spent together, I wished for better,
But I didn't want the train to come.
Now it's departed,
I'm broken hearted, seems like we never started.
All the days spent together, when I wished for better,
And I didn't want the train to come

You think you're loving but you don't love me.
I want to be free, baby you've hurt me.
You don't love me,
I want to be free,
Baby you've hurt me

Hi!

First things first!

1. HERE WE ARE!
The moment which makes it all worth it! You'll never ever get tired when you have someone like Teiga on your team!

2. PORTENGLISH
Apparently a new language.
Ex1: ate breve!
It could mean see you soon, but because Americans don't have special characters so in this case ate (to eat) following breve it could be some sort of slang. And then i understood something like "i hunger to see you again".
That sounds weird i know but then again it's Portenglish.
Ex2: Toe? Ok that would be a private joke, but imagine yourself answering the phone saying Toe?
I think she invented a new meaning to the "Knock Knock" jokes.

3. A WHOLE NEW WORLD
This should be more like 2.1, because she invented a lot of new words, which some i refuse to write in here. I asked myself sometimes in which country she thinks she is.

4.WILL I MISS HER?
Hell yeah! I would be lying if i said no.

5. "I'VE BEEN CONFUSED OUTTA' MY MIND".
Thats a nice song but for the lyrics i would go more like "now here's the door" bye bye see you Lindsey....just kidding (but it would be fun).

6. WHY AM I WRITING IN ENGLISH?
Well i don´t know, to practice? Don't think so, probably because if i wrote in Portuguese i wouldn't use special characters and then people wouldn't understand (i think only Lindsey would, just being nice).

7. VALADARES RIGUINHA
Hey Linds say it out loud in Portenglish please so i can laugh one last time? would you?

8. SEE YOU IN CHAT?
.......that would be between me and her....
ate breve (is that right?)
